This vineyard is on well-drained loam underlain by sandstone and fractured shale, and is planted with cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and cabernet franc. Perfectly situated to capture the full warmth and light of the afternoon sun, at elevations approaching 1,000 feet, these west-facing vines produce cabernet sauvignon with immense body, firm structure, and ripe, dark and chocolatey fruit character.
